SEA-TAC Airport Guide

For people who travel a lot, airports become a familiar stopping point where they often spend a lot of time. If you're a frequent traveler and find yourself traveling in and out of the SEA-TAC Airport, the guide below will inform you of what to expect and how to spend your time at SEA-TAC.

A Surprisingly Comfortable Place to Sleep During Layovers...

Nobody wants to be in an airport for a long layover, but if you end up having an overnight layover at SEA-TAC, the best thing about SEA-TAC is that you'll have a relatively comfortable stay that will save you money on hotel costs. Though it won't be quite as comfortable as sleeping in a hotel bed, there are plenty of seats without arm rests throughout the airport terminals that are comfortable enough to provide a few hours of sleep.

...But Bring Headphones for the Noise

While the seating may serve you well for a decent night's sleep, there is an issue of noisiness at night while the cleaning crew is performing its duties. If you do hope to sleep, you'll definitely want to pack some headphones or earplugs to block out the noise.

Some Fun Things to Do While at the SEA

If you find you're going to spend some significant time in the SEA-TAC Airport, there's plenty to do to pass the time away. For example, you might want to spend your time at The Massage Bar where you can get a neck or foot massage or you might want to get a manicure or pedicure at Butter London. If art better piques your interests, the airport features original artwork in areas throughout. There are also plenty of places to shop while you're waiting for your flight.

Restaurants to Check Out at SEA

SEA-TAC also features many great restaurants that will be a great way to spend your time in the airport. Given that there are so many, here's a rundown of some of the best.

Beecher's specializes in a variety of cheeses and is known for their "World Famous" Mac and Cheese.

Anthony's Restaurant and Fish Bar is the place to go if you're in the mood for fresh seafood.

Africa Lounge features an African atmosphere and serves a variety of sandwiches. They also have a television for watching sports.

Dish D'Lish serves a variety of market-fresh foods.

More Ways to Enjoy a Stay at SEA

The airport also features free Wi-Fi, children's play areas, luggage storage rentals, a meditation room, and a station for charging your mobile devices. SEA-TAC is set up to make your stay, whether a few minutes or a few hours, a comfortable one.
