Arrival Info:

Guests will drop off their vehicle at 27299 Wick Rd and be transported via free shuttle to their departure terminal at DTW. Customer's vehicle will be moved a distance of 5 miles by an insured staff driver to the secure parking facility at 3500 Michigan. Vehicle may also be stored outside for a portion of the time.

Airport Transportation

Free shuttles are available to transport travelers to and from the airport. Our shuttles are available 24 hours daily and operate every 15 minutes. Upon arriving at DTW, please call Valet Connections at 734-992-4946 for pick up so that our dedicated parking attendants can have your vehicle prepared and waiting upon your return.

    I would rate this company higher as the prices were lowest and the shuttle wait times are completely reasonable but, after arriving back from my trip and having the shuttle pick me up I had to wait a fairly significant amount of time in the lobby to get my key. There were only two people ahead of me. The reason is because they only had one young lady staffed to run the counter. Ideally, two people should be behind the counter; one for pick up and one for drop off. Now that being said, she was very polite and apologetic for the wait time so, that was refreshing after spending some time in Miami where people are flat out mean. My only other problem was that they hit something with my car or something hit my car. The bumper on the back was fine before I left but when I got home there was/is a small but very noticeable dent. Noticeable enough that it caught my eye immediately when I went to open the trunk. I had a nightmare of a flight and was late for work and my car is far from brand new so I decided not to bring it to their attention as I believed that nothing would come from it except an apology and probably a piece of paper that said that I had signed a waiver of liability that exempts them from being responsible for things such as that.

    The Valet connection shuttle always seems to take too long to arrive at the shuttle pick up after arriving in Detroit. All the other parking shuttles come and go a couple times before VC shuttle arrives. My flight was very late on Sunday and after waiting for shuttle I learn that the shuttle is making stops at hotels on the way to the lot. That was very frustrating since that is not what I signed up for and it was so late or rather very early in the morning, like 2am. A driver who delays my trip in that way will not receive a tip from me. I also will probably not use VC unless there is snow on the ground. The covered parking is great for snowy weather but the distance and then the delays are an unnecessary nuisance in good weather when other lots are available and more prompt. Also, there was one time when I ordered an interior/exterior wash. The inside was not cleaned at all but since all I wanted to do was get home I didn't say anything. I would never order a wash from VC again for that reason.

    Our main concern is the last three times we have used Valet Connections there have been inoperable seat belts in the vehicle. The driver seemed to dismiss our concerns and was unaware of any management on site at the time. If not repaired when we travel in June we plan to contact the appropriate regulatory authorities.

    Your drivers need to not squish cars in so tight. My car has a scrape mark on the passenger side back by the rear tire like it was parked too close to another car and it was bumped. the damage is not enough to make a claim but i will never use you guys again since your drivers cant park and pull out correctly. Either that or they put cars too closely to one another. Like I wouldnt notice the damage . It was the first thing i saw when we got home and I was unloading our bags.

    Coming back I had to wait approximately 30 minutes to get the shuttle, this is after I had texted as I was instructed. Once the driver did show, there were only 2 other people waiting for him. He dropped that couple off at the Best Western, and proceeded to drive back to the airport. I yelled at him, and he didn't realize I was still on the van. Which meant that he left my luggage at the Best Western as well. So he raced back there, and luckily the front desk had brought my luggage into the lobby. I was not a happy camper. I understand mistakes happen, but I didn't get off with the other 2 people so I don't understand how he forgot I was still in the van.

    The parking lot was fine but the Valet Connections drivers drove like they were driving race cars and I did not feel safe at all. I also did not appreciate them driving like that by my car that was in the lot. It worried me that they would hit it. They took 30 minutes to pick us up and drove like they were in some kind of a race. I was checking this place out for other people and I will not be recommending it to them.

    The directions were spot on. We did drive by the driveway, it came up real quick. Not their fault. Coming back was a little confusing as it is not marked very well as to where you need to go. We asked a couple of workers who did direct us. We will defiantly use "Valet Connections" the next time we fly. It was hassle free.

    Overall I was very pleased with the promptness of service. I realize how busy things can be depending on the time of occurence, and this was preceding the Easter holiday, so I was quite impressed with the short wait time. This has not always been my experience with Valet, but this time was very favorable from departure and arrival from and to Detroit! Keep up the good work!

    When I arrived it was very unclear where to park my car. The line to check in was very slow and the employees seemed very flustered and unorganized. Upon my return it took the shuttle a 20 minutes to get to the airport from the time I called and I wasn't in my car for another 20 minutes after that still. Overall it was extremely slow compared to other lots.
