not the most professional operation except for drivers
Worked perfectly! A little hesitant at first but they took vehicle and just hand to hand them keys whisked us off to airport in shuttle van and picked us up. Super easy! Saved money. No hassles!
Parking lot was fine.
You will wait and wait and wait because no one is around to help. Even on the phone! Called about lost luggage. Was told I would receive a call, but "nope" they couldn't pull that off either. Bad to non-existent service. Never again.
When I dropped my car off, the lady who helped me was awesome -- very nice and informative and made sure I was taken care of. The shuttle was waiting on me once I parked and brought my luggage. When I picked up, the shuttle took a little more than 10 minutes to get to the airport. Once I got to Thrifty, the guy asked for my name, assuming I was there to rent a car. In my tired, jet-lagged mind (it was 11:30pm), I didn't think to tell him I was picking up my own car, so he couldn't find me in the system. I handed him my printed receipt and he realized I was picking up, but made it seem like my fault for not telling him I was there to get my car. He made light of it so it wasn't a big deal, and he was great otherwise. Just a little snag. My car was backed up to the fence (they had moved it since I'd parked) so I could hardly get to the trunk. It was also a bit dirty, but otherwise fine.
Picking up the car was a bit trying. There wer quite a fw people waiting for the shuttle to rent cars. We couldn't fit on the first shuttle n' waited for a 2nd one. We almost weren't able to get on that one as well. After we arrived at the parking lot, the people were there from the first shuttle trying to rent. It probably took close to an hour and 15 minutes from the time we got on a shuttle till we were able to get the keats to drive our car out of the Thrifty rental area. I do understand when you have probably 15 people trying to rent that it would take a while. Just wished there would be an easier way to pick up when you use park n' go.
My "go to" place to park in Charleston when flying out. Thanks again for a great experience.
I have used the Thrifty lot in Charleston multiple times, and each time the experience is GREAT! Wait time are not a big deal (longer if I just missed the shuttle), no matter the time of day. They will remain my go-to folks when I leave town in the future.
Airport shuttle pick up was atrocious, and phone staff is unable to be reached much of the time when you call them
I parked my car there for 7 days. When I picked it up it was filthy. Dead leaves and dirt all over it. Found a gecko and a spider, both alive, inside my car. Unacceptable. I should be reimbursed for a car wash.
We waited 55 minutes from the time we requested which was 11:45 P.M. I don't think we'll be using Thrifty again.

While parked at Thrifty Auto Rental in Charleston, my rear passenger window was broken when they were mowing a grassy area adjacent to my car. They did notify me and took complete responsibility for the window and it was repaired when I got back from vacation. But they did not credit me for the parking of $105.00 until I began complaining to the manager. Thrifty should have IMMEDIATELY given the credit for the inconvenience during my vacation. I had to make several calls, e-mails, etc. to coordinate the replacement of the window. I don't believe I should have had to ask for the credit. Not good customer service.

The number on the receipt for shuttle was no longer in service and no answer at 1st number I found on line
We used your parking service because we took Amtrack. We paid on line and gave the statement at the desk. We did not get it back. When we came back we realized we did not have a phone number and had to take a taxi back to your office. It would help if we were given return instructions.
I reserved parking here. Small lot, seems like they don't do it much. Also, there is a 3.99 fee tacked on. for 4 days parking I could have parked at the airport for the same $.
