The Parking Spot (formerly AviStar LaGuardia) offers free transportation to and from LaGuardia Airport terminals in clean shuttle buses, free luggage assistance and free coffee and espresso. There is a handicap accessible shuttle bus available. The arrival and departure zones are canopied and the lot is safe, secure and open 24 hours a day. Detailed directions are available once you have made a reservation. The Parking Spot asks that you arrive to park 15 minutes before you need to be at the airport terminal. On your return, once you have collected your luggage, exit the terminal and call 718-507-8162. Passengers exiting the main terminal should walk across the street to the hotel passenger pick up area. Passengers exiting from the US Airways terminal - wait outside the terminal doors at the green booth in the ground transportation pick up area. Passengers exiting from the Delta Terminal wait outside the baggage claim location in the passenger pick up area.

Attendants greeted us as we pulled in and unloaded our luggage for us and brought it to the shuttle bus. Driver also took the luggage off of the bus and carried it to the curb side check in desk. We waited no more than 5 minutes for the bus to arrive after we called upon our return and again we did not have to touch the luggage. Cashiers were courteous and efficient. Car had been warmed up. I was extremely pleased with the service and will never use another valet parking service and will recommend this one to all my friends and family. This company knows the meaning of customer service!
My battery was disconnected but I was not notified. I realized after I left the lot when certain electronic presets (seat, windows, radio) were gone. I should have been notified.
Reason why rated employees Poor was due to one employee would not let me change clothes in the bathroom....he said firmly it was out of order even though my sone had come out of the bathroom 30 seconds before after changing clothes. He said plumbing was out even though it wasnt and I only wanted to change my clothes. The other two employees said I could go in but he refused me to go in One of the employees actually said I could change on one of the buses which is what I did....he felt bad for me and understood. So All employess were a perfect 10 except for that one employee. I was impressed with the service and will use it again. An employee like that one really would keep me from coming back but knew it was just that one BAD employee that will not keep me away. I will see your company again due to the OTHER great understanding helpful employees. Thanks for the service. Would have been 5 stars if not for him.
When I called to be picked up, instead of immediately sending a shuttle, the attendant asked me for my ticket, which I didn't have. He then asked me for my license plate, which I didn't have either. At this point the attendant just kind of froze. I had to suggest that he send a shuttle and we could discuss the particulars at the facility. He said he needed the info, so I insisted he send it, to which he finally agreed. At the facility, another attendant failed to find my name on the list of cars parked on the day I left mine, or anything similar to my name next to the make/model the same as mine. I had to hit the panic button on the key fob for them to find the car, so they could find the ticket number, and they found the key. Never got to the bottom of why my name wasn't on the list. I stated I had a rental agreement on my iPad to which the attendant stated he could not honor it unless it were printed. I informed the attendant that record keeping is his job, and he should print it himself, as I had made the derivation on my phone and had no printer available. He argued with me and said he could only give me a 10% discount. I had to explain I had already paid 20% at an agreed rate and threaten to call the cops before he agreed to look at the iPad and relented on the rate. He lectured me on my responsibilities as a customer, and I assured him based on my horrible experience, I wouldn't be back.

The waiting/pay area is very small which gets crowded quickly in inclement weather. However, everything else was excellent.
Everything was great but the design of the paying area was horrible. Whoever designed it should be reprimanded and should not have gotten paid. it was windy, cold, raining and snowing and the sliding kept opening. It was just too narrow of an area for the conditions. it just was not thought out. I can't say enough about what was the designer thinking about?????
Really great. Our car did take a few minutes to be pulled up when we arrived, but minor thing. Otherwise, really great. Please don't change or get overconfident. You have a nice thing. Keep it that way and we'll definitely be back many times. Thank you!
Waited 15+ minutes for the shuttle in the cold when I first arrived at the parking lot. I was late (which was not the parking lots fault) and all other travelers that day supported having the driver drop me first but he did not. I missed my flight by 3 minutes. I understand that time management is my responsibility but a little courtesy from the parking attendant and the drive would have meant I made my flight.
Nice parking service. Only complaint is that my car was covered in seagull or crow poop (and still is) which is less nice. Will come back again.
When I returned, I kept getting a busy signal when I tried to call for a shuttle. When I finally got through on the phone, I was put on hold for a long time. When I got to the parking lot, my car was not ready. I will use a different parking service next time.
The service lost the keys under us and it took forever for them to get our car down. Also, we had to wait a long period of time for the shuttle to leave for the airport, even though every seat was taken and the second shuttle was filling. There was no free coffee as stated on the receipt. Over all, I am glad we got the discounted rate, I would not have wanted to pay the full cost for such bad service.
The parking attendent did not have my prepaid reservation, and I had to dig it out from a computer I had to borrow from them.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, could not return to LGA as planned. Original return date was Tuesday, couldn't pick up car until following Sunday. Received 1 day free credit, which was a very nice and unexpected surprise. Very pleased with Avistar.
The staff was wonderful and courteous, but the interior of my car had dirt all over the exterior and on the interior console? Not sure what that was about?
Took 40 mins to get from airport to parking facility. I had to call twice. The van came by and went right passed us without stopping. The dispatcher should tell the driver how many people need to be picked up. The driver must have thought there was only one pick up since someone crossed over 3 lanes to get to the van, jumped in and they were gone. Why wouldn;t the driver pull over to the curb? Poorly run. I wont be coming back. I'll try Marriott or Holiday Inn next.
