Finding good parking at a reasonable cost near any big airport is a real challenge, but Southwest Parking is the best I've found in a long time. It's only $7.00 a day and is literally just across the street from the Burbank/Bob Hope Airport on Empire Street. No shuttle is needed as the walk to the terminal is an easy, 2-block, 10 minute walk. I plan to use them whenever I travel out of Burbank in the future.
I left car there for 4 days- you get charged for each partial day- left car Friday am, picked up Tues AM and was charged for 5 days- not too bad though. I reserved the spot so was charged service fee but as it turned out that was not necessary- it was not holiday season. Car very dirty when I picked it up as it is an outside lot. But for the price, it's fine. It is a ten minute walk to airport.
LOVE parking here! The price is good, the location is convenient, and the staff is always kind and cheerful.
The walk from the parking lot to the airport was very easy, but the dirt lot and narrow passage was a bit of a mess. I would park here again!
It’s not much to look at, but the parking lot is lighted, fenced and the best part is the friendly staff! I use this parking lot exclusively when flying from Burbank. There are newer lots (and more expensive) ones near Burbank, but hearing the attendant asking...with a huge smile...”How was your trip and giving you road advisories can’t be beat. I am usually tired and they make my day and send me home feeling great!! I have never had any damage to my car.
There is no shuttle, and it's a 10 minute walk to the terminal. All parking uncovered. For $7 a day, a great choice.
Location and staff person were great! Need to add an NA for shuttle wait time - didn't need one.
Who knew how easy and affordable airport parking could be? Thank you for putting the customer first. The attendant was friendly, helpful and willing to answer any questions. Thank you so much for being affordable and convenient.
There is no shuttle, so the question is invalid.
Great to be only a block or so from the airport! Only downside some may see is that getting out can be tricky depending on where you're parked.
The Parking Lot is almost in total disrepair with at least one gate totally broken and the road is long overdue for paving. Both these condition kind of feed into the question of safety in the area. I also do not know if they at least have safety or surveying cameras. It would also be nice to see the road widened so that backing out would be easier.
A true selfparking facility. 500 meter walk to terminal is perfect amount of leg exercise before and after a flight.
Well i used the one close to Burbank airport. So i didn't use shuttle i just walked. So keep up the good work. For sure next time i will use it again.
Still wish they would make an exit on the far end so backing up or squeezing by another car to exit wouldn't be needed. (There is no shuttle wait time, you walk to the terminal)
We sure get packed in tight--wish there was room for a turn around. thank goodness I remembered my 3 point turns!!!! I had to make 7 to just to get out of my space.
Southwest Parking. No shuttle, no spaces when I arrived, could not understand attendant. Had to leave my key and was not comfortable with that. Lot is dirty and cramped. I won't use that lot again as I didn't feel it was secure.
The description of this parking facility is totally misleading and false. I flew this weekend and I had to park 3/4 mile from the crosswalk to enter the airport and then another few blocks to the terminal. There is no shuttle at SW Parking. It is very likely you could miss your flight if you believed the description that this parking is "minutes from the airport". It is really a 20 minute- 30 minute walk. Im very unsatisfied and I think they should shuttle their customers to the crosswalk.
There is no shuttle and the question regarding that did not have that option
My experience was generally fine -- as expected with no shuttle, parking lot location, etc. My big complaint is additional charge of one day because I was a few hours late retrieving my car (plane was delayed.) I had been given a price for 6 days, and I returned before midnight on the final day, but was charged an extra day.
