The service was excellent. Fast transport to airport and fast pickup. Our car was waiting for us on arrival.
Drivers were excellant
When I called to request a pick-up, the girl who answered the phone spoke rapidly and basically hung up on me when she was done talking. I waited for about 30 minutes for the shuttle. I called to confirm and once again the same girl spoke quickly and said the driver was in traffic at terminal 4. The driver didn't assist everyone with their bags, however I do not know that he is supposed to. The girl who cashed us out was the same girl who answered the phone. She wasn't friendly but wasn't rude. I wouldn't highly recommend SmartPark, it was just average. For the quality of service, the parking should $10 a day.
We got back to Smartpark so quick I didn't have time to finish my conversation with the driver. He wanted to take his family out East for applepicking. I told him Wickhams in Cutchogue for picking, but didn't get to tell him about Harbes in both Jamesport and Mattituck for the full family fall thingy. Agritainment as we call it. Hayrides, cornmaze, roasted corn, animal petting, playground, punkin picking..its all there! its a mob scene. Best to go early Oct.
I forgot one of my suitcases when I got on the shuttle to the airport and panicked! I asked the shuttle driver to go back to the parking lot, and he would have, but some of the other passengers objected because of time constraints, so the driver very intelligently and thoughtfully radioed back to the lot and told the next shuttle driver to bring my bag to me at the airport. I waited at the curb for ten minutes, and there it was! Problem solved, catastrophe averted, all because of the calm professionalism of the driver and his colleagues. Thank you!
Employees need to be sociable

Allow sufficient additional time for the drop-off and trip to the airport - can take additional 30 minutes between waiting for the shuttle to fill up and depart, and then the trip with the stops at the different terminals.
I waited at the terminal for 45 minutes before being picked up. I called 3 times after the initial call & each time I was told the van was 3-4 minutes away. I will probably look elsewhere when I need long-term parking.
Do not use SmartPark. I selected them because I read the shuttles run every 5-10 minutes. We waited 25 minutes for a shuttle. Customer service was poor.
Parked here about a year ago and when we got in the car the driver's side seat would not move. None of the power worked. Finally, after minimal help from the attendants i found that the cable connecting the seat to power was disconnected. No one fessed up or even apologized. Good service goes a long way...
Very frustrating and unpleasant experience from my yesterday's arrival to JFK terminal # 1 around 8:00 pm: 1) Waiting time was about a half of an hour (I recorded my calls to the front desk on my smartphone. 2) A front desk clerk said that the pick up will be in 7-12 min from my first call due to busy time in the airport. Upon my arrival to the front desk in the parking, I found no signs of busy time: only one passenger ahead of me, 3 empty shuttles waiting in the parking. 3) A front desk clerk was unprofessional and pretty crude. Do not want to go into details, but she should not work directly with customers. In the past, my experience with SmartPart was OK. I guess it all depends on the person who is at the front desk.
Pretty bad. I've used other park and fly services at JFK and this place was awful. The pickup van could not even pull into there own parking lot because the cars were so backed up. Not enough people on staff. My car was not ready, there was a Hugh line of people trying to get out or get to their flights. I missed my appointment- I hope nobody missed their flight. Very weak. Felt bad for the folks working there.

Many years ago we had a terrible experience with a different off site parking company outside of JFK, so we were hesitant to try again, even with a different company. However SmartPark turned that all around. We had a terrific experience yesterday. When we called from baggage claim, we were told that we would have a ten minute wait for the shuttle, but when we went outside, the shuttle was waiting for us. When we arrived at the lot, our car was up front waiting for us and checkout took about two minutes. Thanks SmartPark for a terrific off site parking experience!
I fly 2 - 4 times a year. This was the first time I have used long term parking. I will definitely be using smart park again when I fly in February and March.
We stood in the freezing cold for 15 minutes as a smartpark empty van went by and waved we called to say hey its been a while and whats up and were told the van was going to another terminal do you think he should have just stopped and picked us up? Total wait was 25 minutes way too long especial;;y in cold weather very disappointed
Although the parking lot was difficult to find, I would recommend Smartpark to other travelers. When I dropped off my car, the staff was friendly and I was in the shuttle and heading to the airport within minutes. Upon my return, I was surprised to wait only seven minutes for the shuttle and when I arrived at the parking lot, my car was ready for me. I will use Smartpark in the future.
I know it is out of your control, but the traffic at the pick up area was pure anarchy. If the people like you who use JFK could get them to improve the situation, or set up a separate area (away from the personal and limo pick ups) for commercial pick ups. who would make your ops more efficient improve the customer's experience.
