Marriott is a CLASS ACT!
On arrival, very smooth process. It was really early so has to keeping ringing hotel doorbell and eventually called them to open up. Ride to airport took 5 mins. My only complain is upon pick up. When I called the hotel and told them I just landed and needed to picked up, they said they did not have me down for reservation. I explained that my car was in their lot and they eventually picked me up, 15-20 mins later.
We really appreciate quick, efficient, hassle-free service--especially when traveling. Traveling itself is very stressful, so we are very pleased when things such as parking go smoothly!
We have enjoyed this parking option for a few years now. Love the close proximity to the airport. People are great. This has been especially great being able to stay at the hotel the night before an early morning flight.
Parking is anywhere in the hotel lot (so no specific parking attendants) and checkin by hotel receptionist who was not especially friendly, but the location is as close to the terminals as you can get and the shuttle was efficient. Also, the shuttle driver was a very nice and friendly young man.

Poor communication with pickup and arrival
I used the iPhone application to make the reservation. When I showed it to the staff at Marriott they would not accept it. Had to print out the reservation from the internet and give them the hard copy. Also, the app did show the reservation but did not have the Marriott phone number which was needed to call for the shuttle.
Reservation process should include instruction that one needs to call the front desk of the hotel and schedule the shuttle. The "in" time for the reservation is NOT sufficient.
Staff does not seem to have a clear procedure and do not do well conveying the process.
Staff was friendly and prompt taking and picking us up...
Everything was smooth using the service with the exception of the +30 min wait time.
Everything was Excellent. My only challenge is the cost. As a senior citizen I have to watch my costs. Parking was almost as much as my plane ticket. Helpful if you had senior citizen rates if possible. Many thanks!!
Marriott has been my first choice in hotels for about 15 years. I have used many park and fly options and horrible does not adequately describe the experiences. When I found the San Jose Courtyard Marriott offers a park and fly, I didn't hesitate to chose them for our most recent trip. We arrived at 2:30 AM, knowing the first shuttle to the airport wasn't until 4:30 AM. They have a VERY comfortable lobby and we were happy wait there. The shuttle driver even offered to take us to the airport early. The lighting in the parking lot is awesome and I felt very safe there. When we arrived back from our trip, we were back at the hotel and in our car within about 20 minutes from stepping off the plane. The shuttle is top notch. The driver was friendly, helpful and efficient. I have already reserved a spot for our next trip.

The location is nice, but the frequency of the shuttle is a complete fabrication. I made a reservation for my wife. When she got to the lot, she waited for the shuttle for a bit and then asked what the problem was. They said it would be another 40 minutes even though she had been waiting for a while. In the end, she had to take a taxi to the airport to avoid missing her flight. This was a very bad experience and we won't be using this parking service again.
On the way to the airport, we were left waiting for nearly 20 minutes while the driver had coffee. We nearly missed our flight. The driver was polite but did not understand nor speak English. On the way back from the airport, no one at the hotel would answer the phone when we called for the shuttle. Others grew tired of waiting and took taxis to the hotel to get our cars.

Shuttle driver on our way out of town was courteous and helpful. Upon our return the driver was courteous and helped us with a unrelated question. I do have to say though she was the first shuttle driver I had ever encountered that never got out of the van. We loaded and unloaded our own luggage which was ok but just didn't expect it.
