The entrance was cluttered with debris and what looked like garbage items; the lot is a little run down, but the spaces have enough room to not be concerned about door dings.
The sign to the parking lot needed better lighting . Otherwise it was a good experience
The staff was friendly and the lot is close to the airport and 880 freeway. One thing I did not like is that it took close to 25 minutes to be picked up from the airport, which is not a good feeling when you flight gets in at night.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking area was clean and easily navigatable. Pickup was quick and easy. Would recommend to others and definitely use again.
I like parking here and the location is most convenient for me. Recent experiences though have held wait times at the airport that were just TOO long. Drivers always feel safe and attentive. Newer buses offer seatbelts to each passenger.
Everything went great and I like the coupon online, the only thing that really bathored me was that my flight was delayed and I arrived four hours after expected . And was charged a full extra day . Wasn't at all happy about that since I had to wait all day already
First time I've ever had difficulty with this parking lot. Shuttle drivers had plenty of room to take passengers but wouldn't let them stand. I was the sole additional person each time. One time the other passengers talked the driver into letting me on. In the past passengers were allowed to stand and never had to wait. Also one attendant said to wait at Shuttle Pickup 10 (he wrote it on my ticket), then I was told 11, and then 10 when I called so walking back and forth made me the sole person who couldn't get on the shuttle altho again there was plenty of room. - Also the valet parking attendant wasn't to be seen when I drove in the back far lot so I parked straight ahead. When I walked out (the shuttle was there but didn't even approach me??) I told the attendant who then appeared where I had parked. He said he'd move my car. When I ret'd from my trip my keys were not in the payhouse with everyone else's so after others were dropped off the driver and I had to circle the back lot to find my car. Luckily my keys were there. All in all this added lots of wasted time and frustration to my return trip. This place ran great in the past. Don't know what happened. (Also had great difficulty understanding what some of the attendants and drivers were saying)
Lightning was poor - to - none in outer areas - especially dirt and lower gravel levels. Shuttle driver provided some assistance w/ some lighting for car access.
Parking lot could be cleaner.
Difficult to park during the Thanksgiving weekend. The parking attendants are confused. The driver ask if there is any other customers to pick up. After we left the parking area, he got a call to come back but we were close to the airport.
Could you ever have directions to Hwy. 101 printed up to give out when we leave the parking lot? I have gotten so lost trying to find Hwy. 101 by going south on Coleman Ave.! And that's even with my Google map on my I-phone. Thank you!
We are happy that you exist!!
Better lighting is needed
Knowing that Thanksgiving travel was going to be a little hectic, i prepared adequate time to get to and from the lot to the terminal. The departure only took about 20 mins total from parking to getting off the bus. The arrival was ridiculous. The entire time from when I called the phone number provided to have them pick me up to leaving the lot... almost 2 hours. Knowing that travel is busy... having more than two FULLY loaded shuttles working at a time is necessary. There were shuttles just sitting in the lot not being utilized. Poor planning. However, my car was safe, and the guy even gave me a little discount upon exit. I would stay here again. I will just allow more travel time home next time.
We were a little dismayed at being forced to do valet parking over the Thanksgiving holiday when we had a reserved spot. This added a little time to the start of our trip, waiting to park, but everything else was smooth!
At checkout the staff member who served me was quite abrupt and rude because I was unable to show them a copy of my reservation. I apologized and was polite in my reply however he was not, telling me that I was holding up the line of cars behind me. I acknowledged that but also pointed out that we had also been waiting behind other cars too. The check-out needs top be improved.
Wait times were long, and van service not frequent enough for peak travel period. One van from the parking lot filled up and driver would not let people stand up, so made people wait for the next van. The same thing happened at pickup at airport but this time driver let people stand up.
Sat. 11/26: Upon arriving home to SJC, we arrive at the Park N Travel parking lot quickly but then had to spend over one hour trying to find our car. Due to the crowd for Thanksgiving, by Saturday evening ( 11/26) when we returned, our car had been valet parked. We were driven to the location designated on the ticket, but the car was not in that lot. The designated location was not correct. It was dark and pouring rain. The shuttle driver had to return to the airport to collect more passengers, and my husband and I were left under the awning waiting for some help. The lot attendants were busy with pick-up at the airport and those paying to leave the lot. Finally a young woman working at the lot drove around with our key and located the car. It took over one hour to locate the car in another lot. We did arrive home in Santa Cruz save and sound, but this made for a very long and late trip for us.
very long wait for shuttle over 20 min. in rain. check out of lot also took to long by today standards.
We had to park way at the end of the parking lot and walk pulling our suitcases quite a ways to the waiting area for the Shuttle. This was Tuesday morning before Thanksgiving and I was surprised it was that full already. The only real problem was that when we arrived back from our trip and gave the man our receipt he told us a different amount than what it said on our receipt. Anyway, we gave him our credit card and he said it wasn't good. So my husband gave him another one and he said that wasn't good either and didn't we have cash. They were both Visa cards with a chip. We ended up paying him with cash. We know both of the credit cards were good since we had used them both the day before. Maybe because they both had a chip, the man at the pay booth didn't handle the transaction correctly because of the chip.
