    Parking lot is not fancy. It is fenced but not gated. I have parked here a few times and have never had a problem with anything. Shuttle service is good. Price is great....that's why I park at Howard Johnsons.

    The parking lot is an unattended, gates, gravel lot that is not connected to the motel property as such if you arrive or depart late at night it feels a bit unsafe. The motel staff was not very friendly and she sat responding to messages on her cell phone for several moments before acknowledging that I had walked in and simply left me waiting at the front desk. The shuttle worked out well. However you should be aware that, for departure, it only arrives once an hour at five after the hour. The price was great so in this case I think this is just one of those "you get what you pay for" situations

    I was late for my flight, a combination of me being late and the shuttle being late, we are both to blame. I missed my flight by minutes and missed my job interview. Bummed!

    Must admit- I think I "lucked out" as I was able (directed) to park in the main hotel parking lot near the swimming pool. Clean neat and so safe and easy!

    Convenient to the airport. Parking lot is adjacent to the motel, it is fenced but no gate. Some potholes and surfaced with large gravel rocks. The shuttle which is provided by a third party was not very convenient and we ended up taking a taxi to and from the airport. The lot is not attended so no rating assigned for that aspect.

    When Bus Pickup arrived it was full. Driver radioed for follow-on bus to come. Wait time was about 10 minutes longer.

    1st experience - Pulled into main parking lot & a man came out from the hotel lobby to greet me. The lot was FULL & he told me to just park alongside a curb or anywhere I could find space. I was uneasy not parking in a marked spot & offered to leave my keys so they could move my car, but he declined. Shuttle arrived quickly thereafter. Upon my return, everything was fine. 2nd experience - Pulled into main parking lot, took the 1st available spot, glad to see that marked spots were available this time. I go into the lobby & the man tells me I'm not allowed to park on hotel property (uh, since when?) & I must park behind the hotel in a open parking lot between the back of the hotel, where the dumpsters are, and some apartments. There's NO security at all, plus the lot is a mess with big tall thorny weeds growing up about 3 ft high. I had to walk down a short path that led to the back of the hotel, which made me extremely uneasy as it was dark & I was alone, carrying luggage. I was then informed the shuttle only comes once an hour, which yes, it does warn you online, but was not my previous experience so I was surprised. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry, but I did get a little nervous when the shuttle didn't show up on time - total wait time about 40 minutes, 15 of those after the supposed once an hour arrival time. Upon my return, I called IMMEDIATELY upon landing to alert them I needed to be picked up - from call time to pick up - about 15 minutes, as expected. The driver dropped me off in front of the hotel, rather than in the actual parking lot which was inconvenient & awkward, as it wasn't the "Once an hour pick up time", he wouldn't take the waiting guests to the airport. I will not park here again as I'm not sure how they will run things next time. I didn't appreciate not being able to park on property where yes, there isn't Security but at least the lobby manager is kind of able to keep an eye on things. Also not a fan of the once an hour shuttle service.

    on 05/08/16 my flight was 8 .20 pm , and I arrived at parking reservation office at 6.15 pm . The Staff (Lady) who was in Reception very rude and told me I have to wait for next shuttle for 7 pm. I said it will be late for the flight , so she called the taxy for me and i paid for taxy 20 dollars. just for less than a mile to airport. !!!

    The parking lot was self parking with no attendants, However, the lot was fenced and seemed secure. I would use it again and recommend others to do the same.

    The price savings doesn't help with the frustration. It took them over an hour to pick us up from the airport.....ended up taking a cab to get to the facility in order to get our car. Every time we called, they said they are on the way. Forgo the frustration and time wasn't, not worth the savings!!!!

    The parking lot is behind the hotel and is very sketchy. Wouldn't have wanted to park there if I were alone. Guessing no one checks the lot because there is no way to tell if you paid to park there or not (not sticker or paper to put in window or anything).

    This place needs to be looked at is not lighted for secure as advertised. We got there at 5am 2 men were sleeping in the lobby. One said he worked there and told us where to park was around back in a unlit and unsecured lot dirt and rocks. Very shady area. Went back in the second man got up and I am sure he is a homeless person the other man said he lives back there and watches the lot. Asked him if he was taking our prepaid letter he said no you could even call and cancel my boss wouldn't know. The shuttle came and we had to catch the plane. So we left without a ticket showing we parked there. Needless to say we were very uncomfortable with the whole situation. If we would even have a car when we got back. Will not be recommending this or using it again.

    This area of town is terrible! The parking lot is in a neighborhood behind the hotel next to low income housing. It is not gated or lighted. I was very worried about leaving my car there but did not have enough time to find another place and had already paid for this one. Spend the extra few dollars so you don't have to worry if your car will be there when you get back from vacation!

    I used the HoJo Parking that was on Van Buren. Problem is, the HoJo is on VanBuren, the parking is not. The parking is back behind the Hotel down a side street called '41st Pl" and an alley. Go down 41st then make a left on the alley and pull into an unlit stone, dirt & weed lot. There is a seedy house on the lot complete w/boarded up or tinfoil covered windows & copious amounts of laundry hanging on a rope. I was barely able to get my car out due to the vehicle that was in junk yard condition w/the entire framing and engine block visible & wires hanging out of back. I felt very uneasy and was concerned for my safety and I was concerned about my car while I was away. I think this is a horrible place to ask people to pay money and leave their car given the surroundings. And then to not even provide security or an escort is horrible. As a woman I am quite fond of not being robbed or attacked in any fashion. I had no sense of security at all and will never use this place again.
