    We had a longer than expected wait at the airport for pick-up before returning to the hotel. Drivers and other personnel were excellent.

    All staff were great on the front end, but the shuttle on our return was a big problem. We got on the first Hilton shuttle at SFO and wound up at the wrong Hilton! Had to wait to go back to SFO after 11pm, waited 35 min's then started calling our Hilton, kept getting told shuttle runs every 30 min's. Seemed like one of the runs never happened. The driver who finally came seemed unaware we were waiting, almost left us stranded if we hadn't run to stop him. This despite two different people I phoned and spoke with at the Hilton telling me that they were radioing the driver.

    I was especially concerned when I entered the parking area because I saw window glass on the ground. It was not in the center of the parking space but close to a parking line. Just the sheer volume of glass made me suspect it was side window glass left after a vehicle was burglarized. The parking lot is easily accessible by the general public walking on bikes etc. I saw no security and wondered just how protected the lot is. I made sure my vehicle was parked under a light. To be honest for the 16 days I was gone it was a worry the whole time for me. I thought I would see glass on the ground around my vehicle when I returned. There was no problem but not sure if I will use the parking facilities again. Even though there was a savings over airport parking it was not worth it to me.

    Ended up picking this spot because it was further north than the others since I'm coming from the city and it was slightly cheaper. As others have said, shuttle service is a bit inconsistent, but for me was totally unavailable at 12AM. I subsequently spent $15 on an uber which negated my fiscal savings. So basically, if you're not in a huge rush, your flight leaves and arrives while their shuttle operates, and you are coming from the North, this is a great option. Otherwise, you might try somewhere else.

    Our flight time was at 5:35 AM so we arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport North at 4:10 AM. There was no one at the front desk but there was a sign that said the front desk attendant would return in 5 minutes. 5 minutes turned into 20 minutes. This caused much panic and almost caused us to miss our flight. I had TSA Pre Check which was extremely helpful, but my companion did not. So I will NOT be using the airport parking at Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport North EVER AGAIN.

    Parking lot was great, and the hotel desk was vey helpful. The shuttle service was horrible. It does not run every 30 min. like advertised, it runs whenever and however it likes. Long waits, 45 min. for both arrival and departure.

    Driver didn't stop fkr hilton gardens inn south San Francisco even when I walked up and waved. I called hotel and they said he was too far so had to wait another 30 minutes.
