Area construction made it difficult to find the hotel but that's not their fault. The parking lot was almost full. I got almost the last slot. I was concerned I wouldn't find one and I had made a reservation. Not sure what would have happened if I didn't find one.
Too long of a wait for the shuttle
Everything good, just lucky, walked out of airport and van was right there. It was raining so could have been ugly!
The distance to the Miami Airport is very convenient, and the price is very good but the shuttle wait time it was too much for us. We had a 10 hours international flight, and after we got our baggage we called the hotel to ask the time the shuttle will be at the airport, and they said that we could wait outside because the shuttle runs every 15 mins back and forward, so we went outside, really tired, and waited for 45 min.
The shuttle bus driver should have told us to meet the bus on our return UPSTAIRS at departure. We were waiting downstairs at arrivals.
Will use next time
great location. staff friendly and helpful. parking lot was secure. would def use this service again. would suggest to clean up interior of shuttle busses a bit! thanks for the cold bottled water on the way out of airport :)
Over all, this was a great deal!! I am so glad I found you guys.
The price was right, but service was not. Travelling over a busy holiday weekend, I was running late. I parked my car and saw the shuttle waiting, and I asked if they wouldn't mind waiting 5 min for me since apparently the protocol was to see Front Desk first to pay. The Front Desk agent did not have a sense of urgency and took her sweet time. The shuttle driver, who told me he would wait, left without warning, and I was left at the hotel to wait for the next shuttle departing 30 min later because I was a minute or two behind schedule due to the slow Front Desk. Since I was already running late, I took a cab a mile to the airport, which cost me more than a few days worth of parking given the traffic. Not one person working for the shuttle service or hotel seemed remotely affected by my situation. On my way back, I did manage to catch the shuttle but was told by the hotel to wait on the wrong side of the street. The shuttle driver was irked that I was on the wrong side and gave me mouth about it. Moral of the story: if you want to take advantage of the pricing, get there early, and just accept poor service.
Nearby road construction caused a problem in locating hotel; not included in directions
We always park with you at the Embassy Suites and find it always excellent. We do find that sometimes we have a longer wait at airport to pick us up but we understand that they make the trip every 30 minutes and with the good service, we don't really mind the wait. Others have more vans to pick up people with more trips but they do not work the hours like Embassy Suites. Feel that it is a very safe place to leave our vehicle.
i parked a little longer. the attendant wanted to charge me the HOTEL rate for parking that extra day. Crazy!
Waited 30 -45 minutes for van while watching the same vans go by over and over again from other hotels and airport parking
I'll not use this parking ever, it was raining, parking was a total lake, no one was available to help you, I waited for the shuttle for 20 minutes, nothing. I was about to miss my fly, so I had to call a taxi cab, pay $15. Because it was not Shuttle. Concierge was very slow and rude, Be aware if is raining DO NOT PARK HERE. unless you are parking a boat...
The only issue I had was waiting in line to pay the remainder of the balance when I got to the hotel. I had to wait in the registration line to complete the transaction and that took a little longer than expected. Other than that, everything was fine.
The shuttles run ever 30 minutes, which was not convenient for me when I was trying to catch my flight (I ended up paying for a cab). Additionally, the system for finding the shuttle at the airport was a bit stressful (just look for the shuttle w/ the Embassy logo and flag it down). Overall, not a bad experience.
Check in and check out had to go through main hotel front desk for which the wait was far too long.
getting out was a pain- Machine ate the card and necessitated getting another one and an explanation from an employee of how it works. Paper ticket and plastic card aren't the same thing to me. Better wording would have saved the situation.
