Drive to the main entry lobby of the hotel. The valet attendant will provide you a claim ticket to retrieve your vehicle. Proceed to the designated hotel courtesy pickup area near main entrance. At the hotel, please wait in at the covered porte cochere of the hotel lobby. Please remember to remove any additional attachments; such as bike racks and large tow hitches before coming to lot. Site may refuse to park vehicle.

Airport Transportation

All shuttles leave on demand - 4:30 AM to 12 Midnight- 7 days per week. The San Jose Mineta International Airport requires all shuttle vans and buses to only either drop-off or pick-up guests at the terminals. This can not be done simultaneously. If guests are dropped off, the shuttle is required to circle the concourse, and then come back and pick-up guests at the courtesy shuttle area. The design of the entrance will not allow the shuttle the convenience to drop-off and pick-up guests within one ride around the terminal. There will be slight delays and this will increase the wait time.

    Super service. I pulled up to the Doubletree, the valet gave me the return instructions, and stepped onto the shuttle within three minutes. On my return, called the number on my claim ticket and shuttle was there within five minutes. My car was waiting for me in front of the hotel. Can't beat that.

    Excellent service to and from the airport. After I dropped my car off at valet last Friday, I was immediately taken to the airport by the shuttle service. The service going back to the hotel on Sunday was also quick. There was about a 5 minute wait for the shuttle, and my car was waiting for me after I was dropped off. Saved me so much time considering I had to wait over 30 minutes at a different hotel last month.

    We have parked at the Doubletree at SJC many times but never again. Our flight was due to arrive at 11:20 PM but it was delayed by an hour. We learned the hard way that the shuttle service stops at midnight. We ended up paying $20 for a taxi to drive us the 2 miles to the hotel.

    On August 13th, 2014, my flight came in from Hawaiian Airlines Domestic at 10:20 p.m. Upon receiving my luggage, I called Doubletree Hotel at 10:30 p.m. to pick me up via their shuttle service to retrieve my car on their lot. It wasn't until 11:45 p.m. when I finally arrived at the 1.4 miles from the airport to Doubletree Hotel. I was the only pickup in that shuttle. While I was waiting for over an hour for my Doubletree shuttle, I saw shuttles from Garden Hotel come by three times, Hilton come by four times as well as Wyndham just to name a few hotels where their shuttle services came by multiple times while I was waiting for my first time from Doubletree. I was thinking any minute, I would see the Doubletree shuttle service so I waited and waited. Had I known at the outset that it was going to take over an hour, I would have called a taxi immediately to take me the 1.4 miles to the Doubletree even though financially, that would have defeated the savings purposes for parking off campus from the airport in the first place because at that point, my time was more valuable. Also, I'm a single woman standing in the dark until almost midnight at the airport with three bags of luggage for over an hour, which was scary and unsettling. Had it not been night, I would have even walked with all my luggage the 1.4 miles from the airport to the Doubletree to retrieve my car so that I could be on my 45 minute commute to my home. By the time I got home and settled, it was 2:00 a.m. when I set my alarm for 5:00 a.m. to get to work the next morning. With so many parking options for the San Jose Airport, it would seem timely service should have been paramount in order to stand out from the crowd of competitors. When I got to work the next day, because I saw the Garden Hotel shuttle service so many times the night before, I called them, curious to see how much more their parking fees were than the Doubletree. I assumed the Garden Hotel fees were substantially more since their service seemed to be more important to them. They charge $7.00 a night. I paid 9.50 a night at the Doubletree. Looks like I lost out on both higher fees and poor service when booking with Doubletree.

    Very easy to reserve online. The valet staff at Doubletree were courteous and prompt with their assistance. We had no wait going to the airport and only a five minute wait at the airport when we returned. Great service--great people. All that and warm chocolate chip cookies to kick off our trip--kudos to Doubletree!

    Hotel needs to upgrade their computer network. at the time I paid my bill the attendant had to manually run my card as their "system" was down. This is at least the 2nd, if not the third, time this has happened. Just makes their job harder and is more time consuming.
