Drive to the main entry lobby of the hotel. The valet attendant will provide you a claim ticket to retrieve your vehicle. Proceed to the designated hotel courtesy pickup area near main entrance. At the hotel, please wait in at the covered porte cochere of the hotel lobby. Please remember to remove any additional attachments; such as bike racks and large tow hitches before coming to lot. Site may refuse to park vehicle.

Airport Transportation

All shuttles leave on demand - 4:30 AM to 12 Midnight- 7 days per week. The San Jose Mineta International Airport requires all shuttle vans and buses to only either drop-off or pick-up guests at the terminals. This can not be done simultaneously. If guests are dropped off, the shuttle is required to circle the concourse, and then come back and pick-up guests at the courtesy shuttle area. The design of the entrance will not allow the shuttle the convenience to drop-off and pick-up guests within one ride around the terminal. There will be slight delays and this will increase the wait time.

    They have SERIOUS COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS among DoubleTree hotel person, valet attendants, and drivers. They excused differently and HAD US WAIT FOR 30 MIN at night. NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

    I had a very bad experience with Doubletree. I have been using DoubleTree more than 2 years. I don't use it anymore. At the time of car drop-off, i waited for the shuttle for 20+min. It was around 7:30am. I saw 2 parties took a taxi and left. On the way back, I waited for the shuttle for more than 30min at the airport. While waiting, Hotel shuttle passed away without stopping at our stop. I called. The guy who picked up the call said, hotel front answered my earlier pickup request, then did not communicate with them properly. The shuttle driver said I was not at the right stop. The parking lot attendant said different drivers may use different stops. Their answers were inconsistent. Either the whole workflow is poorly organized or workers are unaware of what to do.

    Very satisfied with Doubletree's service. Shuttle to take me to the airport arrived within 4-5 minutes, and once landing the shuttle was already waiting outside to take me back to the lot.

    Parked at Double Tree Hotel on Gateway. Car was waiting for us when the shuttle arrived. Great service from all involved. Will definitely use again.

    Called for shuttle when we got to the pick-up point. No problem. A flight crew showed up about 10 minutes after us, and when the shuttle showed up they got on first. We were initially told we'd need to wait for the next shuttle, but there was room for just us two, leaving others behind who had also been waiting longer than the flight crew. I would have been extremely disappointed if we had needed to wait another 15 minutes for another shuttle. I understand catering to flight crews is very profitable, and as seasoned travelers, they know how to jump in front instead of waiting their turn. You might consider doing what I saw the Hilton do - have a separate van for flight crews.

    We always use your services when parking at SJC. Rates are good and service is excellent. The refund policy needs improvement. It's very difficult to speak to a person when needed. Other than that everything else is good!
