Arrival Info:

Drive to the main entry lobby of the hotel. The valet attendant will provide you a claim ticket to retrieve your vehicle. Proceed to the designated hotel courtesy pickup area near main entrance. At the hotel, please wait in at the covered porte cochere of the hotel lobby. Please remember to remove any additional attachments; such as bike racks and large tow hitches before coming to lot. Site may refuse to park vehicle.

Airport Transportation

All shuttles leave on demand - 4:30 AM to 12 Midnight- 7 days per week. The San Jose Mineta International Airport requires all shuttle vans and buses to only either drop-off or pick-up guests at the terminals. This can not be done simultaneously. If guests are dropped off, the shuttle is required to circle the concourse, and then come back and pick-up guests at the courtesy shuttle area. The design of the entrance will not allow the shuttle the convenience to drop-off and pick-up guests within one ride around the terminal. There will be slight delays and this will increase the wait time.

    Used DoubleTree Hotel parking for many years. Was very happy until last night. Our plane arrived late, close to midnight. By the time we got our luggage, etc. it was "off schedule" time. Ended up hiring cab for $15. What a disappointment. Take that into consideration if your arrival time close to 12pm - 4am time period. Next time we will use another parking facility, 24 hrs available.

    I was upset that they couldn't drop me off right in front of SWA sky cap. I have a hard time walking, but it was OK. When I returned the attendents remembered the car. That was nice.

    I used Doubletree Hotel for five days of parking on our trip to Seattle and Vancouver. Its hotel website says the shuttle is 30-minute interval. In reality you don't wait at all. Its shuttle van leaves whenever there's customer waiting. When we, a party of eight, returned at the San Jose airport, we called a phone number and the van arrived in 5 minutes. For only $10 a day, tax included, we were treated like VIP. Can't beat it. I highly recommend.

    There was no answer when I called to be picked up on returning. I called 8 times over about 20 minutes. I ended up calling the hotel's main number and connected with their shuttle drive.

    For 7/7/13 Our flight arrived 30 min. late (10:30pm). Then our bags were delayed for about the same amount of time. (I called for the shuttle after we got our bags, about 11pm) and then it took us at least 5 min. to walk to the shuttle stop with all of our bags. So, by that time we were already kind of tired of waiting. Then we waited for another 30 min. for the shuttle. So, it didn't really feel like prompt service. It seemed like the shuttle driver was exceptionally busy that night. We understand that whatever the reason it took the shuttle so long to pick us up was probably unavoidable, but nevertheless, we waited for the shuttle way too long!

    Not a perfect 1st experience, as upon returning to SJC airport, I called the number on the back of my valet ticket as instructed. The phone rang 4 times before I received an announcement saying that the voice mailbox for the number had not been set up yet, and the call was disconnected. I then phoned the number for the Doubletree Hotel which is where the parking lot was, the front desk answered, took my parking ticket number so that my car would be waiting for me when I arrived, yet it was not. I still had to wait for my car to be retrieved when the shuttle arrived back at the hotel. Lastly, when I questioned the amount due at time of pick-up, the attendant wasn't able to answer my questions and I had to wait for the manager to arrive. It was not a good way to end a wonderful holiday weekend.

    Your website reservation system is difficult to navigate. I never know if my reservation has gone through until several minutes pass when I get a confirmation by email. When making a reservation, the system should be less cluttered and take one through the process until a "Thank You" at the end. Simple and clean would be nicer.

    Your website needs to allow for full payment. It is difficult for business travelers to end up with two charges for the same parking service that do not correlate to days parked.
