    Great Customer service at the Court Yard Marriott Crystal City, got there alittle early was not a problem, parking lot was very well lit, clean and secure. When up to shuttle area, waited about 7 minutes shuttle arrived very clean, friendly driver, driver loaded bags took us to DCA airport, explained to us where to meet the shuttle upon on return. I recommend this service to travelers flying out of DCA.

    no problems here; just missed the shuttle by a minute or so, so while the wait time I quoted may seem longer than desired to some, it was well within a reasonable time frame of 10-15 minutes; the driver of the shuttle was expeditious in the manner in which he drove the vehicle both to and from the airport, even through heavy traffic;

    Due to holiday parking taking up slots I was emailed in advance that I was assigned to another lot. Found it easily and found a great spot under cover. There were very few spots left so glad I arrived earlier than planned. Appreciated the forewarning and automatic relocation!!

    I went into the "Public Parking " lot adjacent to the hotel and had to pay $6 to get out. There were no parking attendants and the first machine would not accept my money and I had to find another one. Very time consuming! Not to mention adding to the cost of my parking. The hotel people were very helpful and kind. You need to be sure you tell customers to avoid going into that other lot!!!

    After my flight landed at DCA at 5 PM, I waited and waited at the hotel shuttle stop, but no shuttle ever showed. After 40 minutes, I called the hotel lobby and was informed that no shuttle would be forthcoming because of a street obstruction. I was amazed that I was not notified in advance since I have a registered account with which includes both my e-mail address and phone number. However, I was advised by the hotel clerk that he did not have anyway to reach me and was told to take a metro to a bus stop and from there I would be picked up. I realized that the time to reach, pay and take such alternate transportation was longer than it would be me to just walk with my suitcase back to the hotel (a 20-25 minute jaunt). When I reached the hotel, I was also amazed that the hotel had not used another route for its shuttle to reach the airport because the hotel was not blocked off from other road entrances to the airport. When I finally reached my car in the hotel's parking garage, I noticed that the particular floor on which my car was parked was being hosed down for cleaning purposes and blockades had been constructed making an exit from the garage somewhat challenging. I was surprised that I would have been allowed to even park on that level in advance if the hotel knew what particular days the cleaning exercise was to take place. When I made my advance reservation, the hotel was clearly advised of the specific four days (Thurs-Sunday) that I would be parked there. There were just a few cars parked on that level when I reached my car, and each car (including my own) had a paper notice inserted under the windshield advising the owner to remove the car before a specified date because of the cleaning operation. The notice was apparently put on my car by the hotel after I had already departed for my four-day trip. The hotel should have known that I wouldn't be returning until after the cleaning operation had commenced. Not a hotel welcome I would ever have anticipated!

    I went to the wrong garage first. For the Courtyard Mariott, check in at desk and they give you parking garage tokens. You need one to open door to go in and another when you leave. The garage is secure but a little darkly lit. Cars were also parking in non-spaces along wall, so had to go back and forth to get out - park on an aisle with parking on both sides to avoid this. The shuttle dropoff was quick both ways, I will do this again. There were no parking lot attendants, so ignore my rating for attendants.

    When I arrived I asked at the desk when the next shuttle would come and was told "any minute." So I hustled - parked and returned to the pickup area (lobby) in less than 3 minutes - and I'm sure of this timing - only to find that the shuttle had come and gone. The young lady at the desk beseeched the driver to wait for a customer and he drove off anyways, without discharging or picking up any riders at all. Said he's simply not allowed to wait. That makes no sense at all. Had there been even one rider getting out or waiting when he drove, up in the time it would have taken for him to remove and / or load that person's luggage I would have been there. I gave myself plenty of time because I never know when I'll arrive relative to shuttle timing, but that's not the point. I was so disgusted with that behavior I paid the $9 to take a taxi to the terminal rather than wait and ride with this driver. I understand and agree that other passengers should not be unnecessarily delayed waiting for a rider that is not present, but I don't understand why drivers don't have some minimum length of time spent at each stop. If they had that minimum and that information was published along with the shuttle cycle time expectations could be managed.

    This is a terrific option. The only downside was when I went to park my car, I had accidentally parked in an area that I had thought was far enough up, but the shuttle driver of the bus I was just missing blew his horn and made some sort of gesture for me to move. Not really my fault that others had blocked the entire left lane of the driveway and nowhere else to park so I can get the card to enter the garage. Fortunately the next shuttle that arrived was not that driver. Got us to the airport quickly. You literally could almost walk there but the sidewalk has a gap that crossed some sort of exit ramp. I would have walked it had I not had my kids with me. Coming back. the shuttle showed up in abut 15-20 minutes and took us right back to get our car. As it had apparently rained all week it was nice that the car was dry and out of the elements. Would definitely do again and I will find another place to stow my car prior to going inside and getting what I need t check it in.

    I used these hotel parking garages before. Never any problems. Reserve early (they fill up quick). Give yourself some extra time. Wait time on return was about 15mins.
