Arrival Info:

Check your vehicle in by pulling under the canopy and proceed to the Americar counter. We will then check you in. We request information like name address, cell phone, home number, and more importantly return flight information. Note we normally ask all our guests for a credit card to be put on file. After 2 or 3 mn you will then proceed into the shuttle bus where your luggage have already been loaded into the bus by the driver. The Shuttle ride is 3 to 5 mn depending on the weather. You will be dropped in front of your Airline.

    I didn't really look around the parking lot to fairly answer the question about the condition of the lot. That is why I gave it a "fair " rating. On the way down, things went smoothly and Percy ( the driver) was attentive and very pleasant HOWEVER on our return, I had to call 3 times to see when the shuttle would arrive. Each time I was told it would be there in a "couple of minutes". On my second call I was told the driver was "just dropping people off at their vehicle". I think everything I was told were "excuses" for lack of customer service! It's too bad because on the way down I truly considered using Americar again, but after our long wait and lies on the way back, I will not be using them again in my future travels.

    We had used airport parking reservations last year and enjoyed the ease and convenience of this service, so it was a given for this year. But right from the start it was totally different this time around. Had to wait, attendant at desk was slow and seemed confused regarding my reservation, he did however update my credit card info and wanted to keep MY printed copy of reservation and payment. I thought this was strange but alright just let me get to airport as the 2 hour time frame was now down to almost 1 1/2. On our return, shuttle was waiting but had to wait for him to make a return trip since there were so many of us. The cars were lined up, some were running, ours was not, my travel companion went in to get keys as they weren't in vehicle, this was certainly not convenient as it was 20 degrees at that time! When he came back out he said attendant was gonna charge my card for payment, he had told her he thought everything was taken care of and perhaps I should check on this. When I went back in she wanted me to produce a copy of my payment which I couldn't since I had left it there, she seemed nervous and flustered, she then went over to a plastic trash bag on the floor as it was closing time and pulled out my papers I had printed up! When I questioned this, on why she knew to go to the trash bag and pull out my papers which were pretty much torn almost in half ...???? what's going on?? She said she would void transaction when I asked for a copy of that, she showed me a charge for more than the original price which I questioned, apparently I was charged late charge as well. Our connecting flight was delayed in Washington DC an hour and a half, she told me she would credit a days parking for the inconvenience. Quite frankly I want you to know that this time around it was a most unpleasant experience and a poor example of your service.
