    The wait was longer than we would have liked, but given that it was the rush hour in Washington D.C., that was out of the driver's control. All-in-all, a very positive experience.

    It would make the process more seamless if the Hotel staff could enter the reservation ID or scan the reservation upon arrival. EVERYTHING is electronic these days and printing wastes paper and time.

    When I called the hotel upon my return I was told I had to wait until I was out in front of the airport and I explained I was about 5 minutes away from the front of the airport. He said call back. I got irritated and it took them over 25 minutes to come get us. One woman said she had waited over 40 minutes for a ride. The shuttle driver was very nice but the staff inside the hotel was not very understanding and helpful. I wouldn't recommend parking there again. And they had the highest rate for this past weekend.

    We didn't use the shuttle to the airport because we were told it only ran on the hour. No where did it state they only ran on the hour. Which was not acceptable so we used uber. We where told to call the hotel when we returned from our trip for pickup. I called and was told it was going to be 25-30 minutes. After 40 minutes I called again and they were not aware I had made the first call. So an hour later the shuttle finally showed up. Don't use the Courtyard Marriott Alexandria pentagon south

    The shuttle leaves from the hotel one time on the hour per hour. That is it. I called on my way to the hotel to let them know we would be there by 5:55 per the GPS. I had typed in the address provided on the website. The address provided had us "arriving" in the middle of a street - not the hotel. The reception desk failed to tell me about construction surrounding the hotel, so between the construction and the poor directions, we arrived at 6:05. The shuttle had left. Another gentleman who was staying at the hotel also was in the lobby looking for the shuttle (he had made arrangements the night before to take the shuttle). Needless to say, the hotel informed us we had to wait for the next shuttle at 7:00am. Needless to say, we all had to take taxis to the airport so we didn't miss our flights. The hotel receptionist was not helpful in offering us an earlier shuttle ride but was willing to call us a cab. Kind of defeated the cost savings associated with parking there. I will say that the shuttle picking us up at the end of the trip arrived early than the 20 min estimated time that the hotel provided when I called in for the pick up. The driver was super nice too.

    15-20 minute shuttle times listed.....not even close. from the time I parked to the terminal was over an hour....and ONLY because the hotel had someone else take us. On return, landed and called at 7:13.....was delivered back to the hotel/parking structure at 8:20PM little to no traffic from airport to hotel. I would have paid a few dollars more and parked on site at Reagan. with tip both ways, it would have been close to a wash....won't use this location again.

    This Courtyard should get out of this business. I had to wait an hour before being taken to the airport on Friday and I had to wait almost an hour to be picked up at the airport upon returning. For being on/off the interstate and only 4 miles each way, this was ridiculous.

    Upon 1pm arrival at this hotel, I was informed that the shuttle was out on local errands and I would have to wait until the 2pm run. I took a taxi to the airport. Upon arrival back at DCA at 8:15 pm, I called the hotel for pickup (they do not have regular scheduled runs from the airport) and was informed that it could be up to an hour and a half wait until they picked me up -or- I could take a taxi to a local metro station where they would pick me up. I took a taxi to the hotel, and observed no traffic congestion of closed routes during the ride. While the hotel was never rude and facilities fine, just know it can add hours to your travel time.

    The driver waited at the exit of the garage while I got my car and drove out the exit. It was in the wee hours of the morning as the flight had been delayed by bad weather. His concern was appreciated!

    The shuttle is used to take hotel guest and friends to various locations. The airport is a secondary use. The van is in disrepair. Check engine light and low tire inflation warning lights on. Driver texting while driving down I 395 with a van full of people. I had to wait over 45 min to be picked up. I'll never fly out of National again because of this experience.

    My 5th grade daughter and the rest of her safety patrol team traveled to DC the Thursday before the storm. Most of these children had never even seen snow. We are in Palm Beach, FL. The children were supposed to fly back Saturday however, that was delayed until Monday due to the storm. As you can imagine, many parents were very nervous. In today's world communication is easy and fast. I kept in contact with my daughter daily and she was ecstatic notwithstanding the circumstances. My daughter and her friends were beside themselves with how accommodating you all were. I was expecting kids crying to come home, it was quite the opposite. All of the children felt safe and completely entertained. I can not appreciate your team enough for the service you provided to our children; its really an amazing story of compassion, customer service, adaptability, etc....... Thank everyone on the team on behalf of a dad you made comfortable...... Thanks Again, MR

    The wrong Marriott driver picked us up took us to the wrong hotel and that hotel did not try to correct anything just said they could take us back to the airport. Unacceptable! The hotel in Alexandria came to get us but we wasted an hour because the 1st shuttle driver can't read a business card and doesn't know where he is going. Terrible service after the pick up at the airport by an arrogant driver. 2nd driver was very apologetic. Still wasted an hour.

    Good covered parking! The staff was courteous and quick and no issues were encountered. The only item that might need to be addressed is the cleanliness of the parking lot...there was a lot of trash.... Great experience overall. I will use this again!
